Chippatrid - Having nothing to do at work is HIGHLY overrated. Believe me, I know. I'm so bored in my current job!

I have the honor of viewing the resumes that get faxed/mailed in to my office...sad, but true stories

My two favorite ones:

Guy working at KFC~1 Month in 2003
Western Beef~1 month in 2001
McDonalds~2 months in 2001
no other work experience~
no WP, Excel, Access or WPM
BUT
claims 'I've got skills you really could use...'
and from his resume, it's not spellcheck
feature on his PC

Girl writes us begging us for a job...
Handwritten on looseleaf...
Complete with a three page resume...
And crossouts.

There were other bad ones, those two were just the best. We had one guy draw a caricture of himself with a little caption about if I happen to wind up on your desk, please review and give me a call if you find me interesting. That one I got a really good laugh out of, and I was begging my boss to pleeeeeeaaaaase interview this guy just so I could get a good look at him. The other two were just scary plain scary!

My boss is laughing next to me about the picture one, he said I can take what I want from the pile if he still has some from his last hiring session...
