Babyzone.com and american baby has things for parents and info about the latest toys and products.

I also talk to some moms on babyzone.com
Different religious affiliations have sites as well... (ie Christian, Jewish, etc)
Some libraries have clubs or chatrooms available as well.

I'm also on BabyCenter -- it is really great. There is a message board for every Month/Year with lots of people on them, so you can talk to a group that is at exactly the same stage as you.
