What our RB (my nephew) did at our wedding
For weeks leading up the wedding my nephew (he turned 6 the day before the wedding) kept telling me things like 'I'm not coming to your dumb wedding', 'I'm not walking down the aisle.' I guess he's just at that age. DH and I gave him a DS for his b-day at the rehearsal dinner and I told him one stipulation was he had to walk down the aisle.
He did and he did a great job the day of the wedding. Apparently during the ceremony (I didn't find out until afterward) when I was crying during my vows my nephew who was in the front row with my parents starting crying because he saw me crying. My sister (MOH and RBs mom) saw her son crying and she started crying. The tears then traveled down the row of bridesmaids and before they knew it they were all crying.
Afterwards my nephew told my sister and bro inlaw 'It felt good to get that out.' And he gave me a huge hug when we got back to the bridal suite.
