I know nothing about Brooklyn but I'd like to find somewhere really nice near Kleinfelds to take my BMs for lunch. What neighborhood is that? Is it Fort Hamilton? Thanks!!!

Its in Bay Ridge...about 4 blocks off Fort Hamilton Parkway. It's a nice area but parking sucks.

It is in Bay Ridge...there are tons of good restaurants around there. What type of cuisine are you looking for? I live right there so I have plenty of suggestions!! (parking does suck)
Areo's is awesome, it has Italian food and it is very yummy! It is on 5th ave and 85th street. That would be my suggestion.
Pearl Room is great too. Then there is Chianti's, Samm's, Tuscany Grill, Circle's, Gino's, Cebu, Casa Pepe...all depends on what you want to eat!

It's in Bayridge, on 4th avenue in the 80's. I can't remember but I pass it everyday.

My mom and I always go to this little pizza place. It isn't fancy but they happen to have really good food. I forget the name of it, but when you walk out of Kleinfelds you make a right and go one block up. It's the first pizza place and they have small dining area in the back.

i grew up in bay ridge kleinfeld's is on 5th avenue at around 82nd street. if you can't find parking in the street, there is a municipal parking lot on 5th and 86th street.

Silly question but are these Manhattan sized 'avenues'? Only asking because I'm still recovering from my knee/ankle surgery this summer. I want to know exactly how far I'll be walking

Not Manhattan size avenues at all. Meters all over the place and parking really does suck. There is a lot not too far from there. Right across the street from Century 21 actually.

We always park in the lot.. the old guy is so sweet.. it is SO close.. Unless you see a spot right in front, I would not bother looking for a spot- just head to the lot.

The lot is good if you are staying on 5th ave...if you intend to park in the lot and walk to Areo's I wouldn't suggest it...the blocks between 3rd and 5th are looooong and uphill! The streets are fine, nice and short from 86th to 82nd but if you have knee problems I wouldnt suggest it!

Chianti, Areo, and Pearl Room are all amazing!!! I just ate at Chianti this past Sat night, go eat after you try on dresses...you won't fit into anything if you eat before

I was just there this weekend (82nd and 5th) and had a great experience. They were helpful and worked within my budget. Good luck! I fell in love with the first dress I tried on!
