We had about a 35% no rate -- but this included about 10 people (about 10% of our invitees) that we knew were going to be no's (elderly, etc.) but we invited anyway out of courtesy.

mine was way higher. than 20%..I had about 30 out of town, half said no, many of my guests in the finance industry lost their jobs and most were nos, elderly and religious, I knew they were no's and my wedding is on a Friday and people are afraid to take off work so some are coming late or said no. Some of these people are really close to us so I was definitely surprised but the way the economy is today I guess I get it. The average is usually 20% but I would definitely raise it to 35%.

Our BM said 20% no if most of your guest are local and 30% no if you have a lot of OOT guests.
