Re: What pots did you register for??
we just spent two days at the same stores registering. not as much fun as i thought it would be. we chatted with bruce in the cookware dept of fortunoff and got some great info. any of those brands are really top quality (anolon, all clad, calphalon) but the style depends on what you want. we ultimately went with the anolon stainless set and then added some non-stick skillets in. we got the ones with the 'stay cool' handles because Fh never remembers to use pot holders, lol! All Clad is the most popular and expensive partly because it is american made and partly because all restaraunts use it. good luck!

I went with Emeril. I always go for the best bang for your buck which supposedly these are. So far I absolutely love them. My FH calls them 'set and forget' because he always forgets things and the NEVER stick or burn.

Re: What pots did you register for??
I went with the Anolon pots from Fortunoff. I got them for Christmas since we were moving in together.
I like them a lot cooking/cleaning wise. The only thing I don't like is that there is a bit of exposed metal on the handle (even though most of it is rubber coated) and I've been known to touch it occasionally (but, I'm a klutz).
These are the ones we have, they are good, we like them

I went for the All-Clad, I love the style and I have friends who've had them for 15+ years and they still look brand new. I really enjoy cooking and wanted to splurge with this one.

Re: What pots did you register for??
We also got the Anolon Stainless steel. We must have talked to the same guy at Fortunoffs. We got the 10 piece set and then 2 non stick pots.
I subscribe to a magazine called Cooks Illustrated and they test all sorts of kitchen supplies.
They reccommended Faberware Millenium non stick frying pans as the the best bargain non stick pan. And said it not worth spending more on something that will most likely have to be replaced sooner than stainless steel.
They reccommend All Clad, but the Guy at Fortunoff told us Anolon was the foriegn made version of All Clad, therefore more inexpensive.
