What present do I get for a graduate who got their Masters?
One of my oldest friends (who is also one of my BM's) that I have known since kindergarten is graduating from St. Johns with a Masters in education. I'm so proud of her! But what the heck do i get her? Suggestions please...

cash is always good. Maybe a gift card. I personally like getting anything with the word 'spa' in it.

her parents are throwing her a big party at their house. i can't show up with just a card, can i? is it appropriate to give cash?

Some gifts I received when I graduated with my Master's: a nice leather portfolio, a desk clock with a pen in it, money, a bottle of my favorite tequila , gift card to my favorite clothing store, earrings, a basket with lotions & pampering things in it, a gift certificate for a massage.

I like the jewelry idea, or a desk clock, or a GC to an educational store.
Maybe a silver apple paperweight with her name and grade date.

A gift certificate to a local place Framing Place that can laminate her Masters Degree. Getting them laminated is a great gift!!
