Bumping because I really need a list of fun songs that will make everyone dance! I have all the big songs picked out (walking in, first dance, etc.) Have you noticed what songs really make people get up there and shake it at other weddings you've been to???

By the way....I remember someone saying that there aren't as many songs during the reception as you would think. I would choose a couple that you LOVE and then leave the rest to the DJ.

I agree. There is so much down time (special dances, cake cutting, bouquet/garter tosses, dinner) that really you should pick out a few favs so those definitely get played.
The DJ/Band should know what they are doing. They can gauge the crowd and play the song types that the crowd seems to be enjoying the most.
