What questions to ask... help!

What questions to ask... help!

What questions do you think are important to ask the Maitre'd when we meet with him to finalize our reception. This is what I have so far... Please feel free to add on.

1. Is there a separate table to put a card box?
2. How large are the tables for the cake and for the card box?
3. What will be the order of the reception?
4. How long is each course?
5. What is the vegetarian option for the entree?
6. What are the fillings for the wedding cake?
7. What are the designs for the wedding cake?

TIA.

just thought of a few more things. you may already have gone over these with your banquet manager, but it never hurts to ask again:

1) review where the band/dj will be and what time they can start setting up. , Same for lighting set-up

2) ask about table card set-up...where will the table be, etc.

3) drop-off and pack-up of items like favors, flutes, cake cutter set, etc.

4) what insurance certificates do you need to show for vendors?
