What readings/prayers are you using to remember people who have passed away?

I wanted to incorporate grandparents and other important people who have passed away by dedicating a reading to them, but I am looking for something non-religious that doens't actually use the word 'death'
Any suggestions??!!
Thanks!

in the prayer of the faithful we will be mentioning my mother, something like: For our relatives and friends who walk with us on lifes journey, and for those who have gone before us to the other side of life especially the mother of the bride Eileen XXX & (etc), may they enjoy perfect happiness and total fulfillment in eternal life.

FI's dad used to be a minister so he is tweaking it for us to be special, hope that helps

we arent actually using a prayer we are writing on the back of the programs
A Tribute:
The vases of flowers are present in loving honor of
The Bride’s sister
XXXXXXX ,
grandfather
XXXXXXX ,
And all of our other family and friends who have enriched our lives and inspired us to be better people.
We know they are all with us today in spirit.

A Special Thanks :
To All of our relatives and friends, who have shared in our lives. You have honored us with your presence today. We would not be who we are today without you.

I got this from another bride on here:

“It is the Bride & Groom's wish that before we begin today you all join with them in a brief moment of remembrance.”

You may begin, by closing your eyes, and allowing yourself, to feel all the love and joy that radiates from each of you and fills this place. Remember now, the loved ones, who could not be with us today. See them in your minds eye, sitting among us in their rightful places, beaming with pride, rejoicing for that which Bride and Groom have found in each other and sharing in the love and joy that is this day. Secure in the knowledge that they are all loved and remembered.”

i'm going to use ones of these

In memory of loved ones past...

Although death has separated us physically, faith and love have bound us eternally.
Though we cannot see you, we know you are here, though we cannot touch you, we feel the warmth of your smile, as we begin our new lives.

Today we pause to reflect upon those who have shaped our character, molded our spirits and touched our hearts.

Let us not forget the ones that time and god has departed from our world, but not before they graced us with special memories only they could create.
May our loved ones that touched our lives deeply, but only stayed briefly, be looking over us today as we create our new lives as one.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched; they must be felt with the heart.'
