I have Emeril's stainless steel. I only like cooking with stainless steel because i dont like the chemicals on non-stick.
I like the way stainless steel cooks.
I recommend his pots and pans. They are really good and stainless steel should last for YEARS!

Re: What set of pots/pants...
i registered for and received the Le Creuset set ... i received one of the pans as an engagement gift and i hate it. Don't get me wrong - it's great to cook on ... but it's just too damned heavy for regular use by non-body-builders!

Le Creuset in Caribbean Blue. They are amazing and look great, too, but they have a whole bunch of awesome colors.

Re: What set of pots/pants...
We got the 13-piece Calphalon Stainless Steel set. Although we loved All Clad we got these for three reasons:
1. We read reviews and did research and found out that they are basically same as All Clad.
2. The gift giver was able to get 20% at BB&B--you can't use BB&B coupons on All Clad!
3. We got more pieces for the money.
