There is a guy in my office not my boss or a coworker just someone in a different department who keeps talking down to me as if he is my boss. He is pissing me off and I want to tell him nicely but when I do he doesnt seem to get the hint. I do not want to get my boss involved but enough is enough.

That sucks - I hate when people talk down to me, If there is no way you could get into trouble - I would put him in his place!
