What should I ask of my BM? (check out my list!)

We have our menu tasting/cake picking this weekend. I have to be very specific with my BM as she is very business-like and gives fairly short answers. Here's what I have so far, anything you think I should add?

Actually, if any Milleridge Carraige House brides know the answers, that would be great too!

1. How do you decide when to have the cocktail hour inside instead of outside if there is a threat of rain? 50% chance? 70% chance? Is that strictly my decision?

2. Are there handicap bathrooms on the first floor or is there an elevator? (my aunt is having hip surgery just before the wedding)

3. How does the bridal party enter the building without being seen by the guests at cocktail hour?

4. What is my bridal attendant supposed to do for me? If I don't want one, can I forego it? Can I have something in lieu of a bridal attendant?

5. Is there a basket in the bathroom with toiletries or a bathroom attendant?

6. How big is the table that the placecards will be on? Can I ask for a larger table to fit the wish bowl on it too? (don't want people clustered around the wish bowl, waiting for others to finish)

7. When do I drop off the table numbers, menus, favors? The day before? Do I just bring them to the banquet office?

8. Who does the 17% gratuity charge apply to? Matre' D also? Bathroom/bridal attendant? Banquet Manager?

9. If I do not meet the room minimum, can we add on flowers for bridal table, cake, bar, or upgrade a bouquet?

at the places I checked out, you needed to tip the maitre' d separately based on the # of ppl in attendance.

I don't believe you need to tip the banquet mgr, but I could be wrong.

bridal attendant, I believe you are supposed to tip.

i think, in general, the gratuity percentage is bogus and that it doesn't make it to the workers, but again, I'm not basing that on much concrete, just a general suspiciousness.
