My wedding is Aug. 9th, so I should be running around like a lunatic right? But, for some strange reason I don't really have anything to do! What kinds of things should I be working on 2-3 weeks before the wedding?

If you have nothing to do - thank your lucky stars. You must have taken care of all the important stuff.
If you haven't already - do your seating chart & place cards; print & assemble programs; wrap favors; make lists of everything necessary; start your thank you cards.

I only have 17 days left and I am all done as well, the little thinga are left. Eveyone is wondering how come I am so calm.
Get certified check for vendors Get tip envelopes for vendors who require cash pymt Pack for honey moon Finalize all details Pick up wedding bands Send directions to all vendors, confirm times with all vendors Give must take list to photographer Give must play list to band/dj
Don't worry yourself if you don't have anything to do, just keep checking and re-checking. It will be perfect

You may want to put together your wedding day 'emergency kit.' Some items to include are as follows (travel sizes are best): - Band-aids - clear nail polish - nail polish remover - toilet paper (you never know) - alka seltzer - midol, aspirin, tylenol - feminine necessities - safety pins - sewing kit - clear tape - boutinier pins - scissors - baby powder - shout wipes - hair spray & gel - hair pins - gum - q-tips - toothpaste (white, not gel may come in handy) - packs of tissues

I am August 9th also. I amde the wedding emergency kit for my sisters wedding last August 10th and I bet she's using it agian for mine with some new additions in it. It was great though - I even had to use the sewing kit that I had in it to sew a few tuxedo buttons back on. I am feelin it! It is getting really close.
