My shower was last Sunday- so awesome. Anyway, My childhood girlfriend whom I don't speak to everyday but we definatly keep in touch was invited. She called MOH and responded, said she will definatly be there and even offered to get there early and help set up. No Show.. not even a phone call. MOH was even suprised, said she talked to her for a half an hour when she responded. I tried to call and I just get her machine, and when I call her @ work I get her voicemail. Long story short, her shower is in 2 weeks, that means that I have to take off from work to go. Should I even bother with this. I was a little heated @ first and wanted to take her off the guest list for the wedding. what to do?

If she had a good reason then I would go but since there is no contact with her I would reconsider going. Some people are just too rude!!! If she calls you between now and her shower with one hell of an explaination then I would consider it but otherwise I wouldnt show.

I'm a worrier...I would wonder if something is wrong with her? I don't think you can make a decision until you hear from her. Maybe she has a good reason. Give her the benefit of the doubt, you've been friends for so long...

That sucks!!! If she had a good reason for missing..its wednesday, she should have contacted you by now. I dont see why you should put forth the effort to maintain the friendship when she isnt trying. I hate to say it, but unless there was a death, I dont see why she missed..and even still, she should have called you by now!

you have to contact her first for sure, to make sure she is okay. You can even call her parents and tell her mom your worried she never showed up at the shower and never called you. If she is fine and she has no excuse then Id be pi**ed off.

I agree with kathleenmarie. You never know what could have happened. But, if she just didn't show, and doesn't have a reason, she's really not a good friend at all.

First I would fin dout why she didn't show.....maybe there was an emergency or something. If no then you need to let her know how disappointed you are that she wasn't there. sorry that your friend did this to you
