I came home today and found a box from BB&B at my doorstep....it's my first official Shower gift delivered to my house b/c I live more than 900 miles away from my shower location....do I send a thank you card early? Do I open it (they wrapped it - but I know what it is b/c of the receipt) or do I wait till after the shower? My shower isn't till the end of November....what would you do or what have you done?

Me............. I would open it. whoever sent it to you cant excpect you to wait till next month to open it. i mean thats just me. andi would send a thank you after u open it now. just so they know u got it and ur thankful for there thoughts of u and ur FH

That's what I want to do, but one of my bm told me that I'm not allowed and I have to wait b/c it won't be fair...I'm happy they mailed it b/c it's one less gift I have to find a way to bring back...but its killing me...sitting prettily on my table in silver wrapping...it's my crock pot from rival and i want to make a recipe that my gfriend has for ribs. UGH...let's see what the overall consensus is....

I opened mine up! I dont think they expect you to bring them 900 miles away to your shower! so open it up and I sent them a thank you right away only because I would forget later one and plus if you sent it out now they would know right away that you actually got their gift!

just a question but why wouldnt it be fair? its like getting a card for your bday or xmas a few weeks before and u open it and spend the money lol if it was ME i wouldnt listen to them lol im a brat and it would of been open before i even got in the door lol i couldnt let a gift sit on my table for a month and not open it and u want to use it so im sure its killin u even more.
