Two of my BM's didnt show up to order their dresses and I have given them a way in advance notice of when I will be doing tputting the order in .Well These 2 are my cousins and they are sisters. Everyone went to ordered their dresses on Saturday and they were the only 2 that didnt show up. I really didnt expect one of them to come because she just had a baby. But she could of at least try to get her measurements in and find a way to have someone bring the money to me. But the other sister I expected her to be there. She is planning to go on vaction today and I felt that she should have placed her order before she left. I also forgot to mention that she is a bride to be herself in August. Everyone have financial difficulties and obligations, and I feel that if u accepted to be a BM that is one of ur obligations. If I dont get a pone call from them this weekend I am going to assume they are not interested in being a BM and just deal with the 5 I have left. What should I do?

I had a similar situation. One of my girls (future sister in law) was about to have a baby of course when the deadline was coming to place the order. She refused to measure herself, I guess because she was embarrassed. Obviously I do not care what they are just get them in was my motto! So I cooled off and checked with the bridal co. and they said one more week would be fine. 5 days after she had the baby I asked her mom to get her measurements. Finally got them done! Maybe you can send a text or email that the deadline passed you need their measurements so the entire order will not be held up any longer!

As a matter a fact I did tell her the deadline was last week and I extended it another week. Lets see what happens.
