It's not too late to tell her she can't be your MOH. Hell, you can change that the day of your wedding if it came down to it!!
Is it possible to make one of your BM's MOH? Your bridal party should be picked by YOU and not someone else. No one should be in your bridal party because you got guilted into putting them there. That's a crock of BS if you ask me.
Maybe you can demote her to BM or even take her out of the BP all together. If anyone asks why, just let them know that you don't think she is handling the responsibilites well, and that you don't feel comfortable with her being your MOH. You do not want to look back on your pictures wishing you picked someone else!!
And her monopolizing YOUR photographer at YOUR engagement party?? Oh hell no, I would have had words with her and put a stop to that crap right then and there.

As for the photo's, if you have a good photographery and you explain this to them before hand they should be able to handle the situation out right for you. Maybe they can keep pushing her off by saying he will get her family picture as soon as all the bridal pictures are done. Leave the photographer to be the bad guy, he wont see her afterwards and you will. Taking back the MOH title made add more stress to your planning and day of. Ignore, Ignore, Ignore. She will look foolish , not you. It is your day and YOU will Shine no matter what she does

Re: What should I do about this?
I hear ya - I was thinking what I would do is since I already have 2 MOH's, I will maybe just call my best friend another MOH, and give her more of the responsibilities... Since she is doing it anyway... the thing is, I don't want to deal with the drama that wil follow forever after... I am going to talk to my best friend and tell her what I'm thinking - I might make them co-MOH's or somehting - it will honor my friend, and piss off my SS at the same time!
I was pissed when I saw what she did at my e-party, after the fact, and already talked to my photog and FH - we will give her 1 opportunity - 1 - to get her little clan together and take a pic, and thats it - AND - she'll order tha pic separately, as we won't be putting it in our book!
What should I do about her in the bridal suite when I'm getting ready?

Yes - I try to ignore, but you know how it is - sometimes its just hard, and when theres emotions and history there well - I just don't want my expressions on my face to look like I'm constipated!

you may not be able to talk to her, but you CAN talk to your vendors...make sure they understand that there is to be NO OTHER FAMILY pics taken other than the pics on the list YOU provide...the photog will probably be spending most of her time with you..
if she wants family pics, she can stop by Sears on the way to the reception!

Is there someone you trust who can also be in charge of the photographer that day (making sure MOH doesn't take away from his time photographing you and DH)? You shouldn't have to worry about her antics on your wedding day. As far as the bridal suite, can you tell her that you want her to concentrate on getting her kids ready and to not worry about helping you get ready? If not, you can tell her you'll be too stressed out if there are a bunch of people in the bridal suite that day. You can also say that ___ and ___ are helping you get ready.

As far as the bridal suite, are you getting ready there or do you mean the little time between ceramony and CH?. If you are getting ready there: between your hair, makeup and getting dressed you should be plenty occupied. If she is having her hair and make up done by the same, maybe schedule hers LAST and tell her what time to meet you. Have your BP done first while you can enjoy your time and have her arrive later. If you mean the time in between, I am sure the photographer will be doing pics of you and your husband. You can always tell her to join the CH so she can be with her kids and family.

Oh girl, you are in a pickle. LOL My last suggestion,,,,,drink alot. No only kidden. Maybe a one to one conversation with her is the answer. Let her know NOW how you feel and maybe she will back out without you even having to ask. She sounds like she is going to be a bit of a problem. Or you can use my answer ' If you want that for MY WEDDING, I have a better idea.... Renew your Vows and have the day you want for your self and stop telling me how to plan my day' It has worked on two annoying family members already.

This is a woman who is capable of loud, foot stomping tantrums - i am not even kidding!!!
I will put her in her place to a point, but I dont want that to be the focus of my wedding, you know - because guess what - it still becomes about her that way, doesnt it???

Dont let it wait until the day of. That will stress you out. If you confront the situation now and let her know what you think of her, chances are she wont even be there. Let her know that her outbursts, foot stomping, crying like a baby is completely unacceptable and if she cant handle herself maybe it would be best if she wasnt part of your special day. Dont let it build up until the day of or a few days before, address the problem now. Just make sure you give her 'for example when you.....' so she doesnt over look the truth and think you are just picking on her.

Re: What should I do about this?
With regard to the photographer - notify your photographer of the potential for problems with SS ahead of time. Let your photographer know YOUR wishes with regard to family portraits etc. This way the photographer is the 'heavy'. If you have a DOC let her know about the potential family explosion as well.
As for the bridal suite . . . I would tell her that it is going to be too crowded for everyone to be in there the day of, and that you only want you & your mom (or grandma, or alone or whatever) until a certain time (after YOUR hair and makeup is complete). Then stagger your BM's (your friends) so they come in one at a time for hair/makeup, with SS being the last person to arrive.
As for her total lack of involvement, perhaps you can ask her if being MOH is just too much responsiblity given the fact that she has a husband and two kids, and that if she is feeling overwhelmed (or like she just can't do it) you would completely understand if she backed out altogether and that you would not hold it against her.
