I received some dinner & salad plates as a wedding gift (not from our registry). The design of the plates aren't me or my husband's style. I do not want to sound ungrateful because I do appreciate the thought especially since this person was not able to attend our wedding. I also don't want these plates to just sit around collecting dust. I have no idea where the plates were purchased because there is no barcode or return label so I can't return them. What should I do with them?
Hmm... like Katie said check to see if their is a brand then you can see if BBB or Macy's sells it. If they do, bring it in and say you received that as a wedding gift and would like to exchange it.

Yea if its a big name, it's probably sold at the big retailers, but you can always sell on ebay or even better on here or craigslist so you don't have to ship them! lol

They do sell them at big retailers but there is no barcode on the box for some reason. There was a sticker barcode but it was removed. I will try to sell them online. Thanks for all your help.

Just don't do what I did once: took a gift back to the store and discovered the giver worked there and, yep, was at the returns desk that day! Ugh!
