What should I spend?

How much should I spend on a shower gift....

- I'm not attending the shower
- It is my FH friend's fiance. We are friendly but not 'close'

What do you think?

i would spend up to $50 if u're not that close & not attending...pick a nice gift off her registry..

Well, I am also going to a shower this Sunday and it's my finace's best friend's fiance... We are not that close either but between my FMIL and me we are spending $300.

i dont think thats cheap with $40 or $50, you can probably get something nice from her registry

I ended up spending $65 which was included tax, shipping & gift wrapping.

Honestly it was a shock to be invited!
