What should I wear for...

...engagement photos?

We're scheduled to take them on Saturday, May 24 (probably in Fort Tryon park in northern Manhattan, but still up for debate)

Our photographer suggested avoiding dark colors, especially dark greens and browns because we'll blend in with the trees too much.

We want to project a simple casual look...

So, what do you think of this:

I think it's cute but would like to see it on you! Hard to tell what the shape/length of the skirt is

i like it a lot.

one thing to keep in mind - do NOT have FH wear the same colors as you. There will be no separation between the two of you in the photos if you are in the same colors....just keep that in mind!

Yes, good point. In fact, our photographer mentioned not to wear the same colors, but rather that our colors be in the same tonal family. If I go with the red top, I'm thinking of having FH wear a blue shirt in the same tone (darkish bright)
