He doesnt have anyone that he can make his bm. He has an older brother but they do not get along at all. they dont even speak to each other. REALLY BAD. and he says the people he is friendly arent really his friends. he says you are my best friend. Any ideas. is it wierd to have no bm?

I heard of man who made his dad his best man. But also he could use a sister, mother or female friend to be his bm. I've heard of it done. I heard about a man who made his sister his best man because they were just so close. she wore a suit and held the ring and everything. Also a Best man isn't required for a wedding.

If he doesn't have a Dad, you don't have to have a Best Man at all

My FH is kind of in the same situation he has work friends and acquaintances but no friend friends. I suggested his grandpa because they are really close.

My FI is having his bro altho they really aren't that close either. He says he just doesn't want to hear it from his bro. He was going to ask his uncle as well, but instead he's having him as a GM.
Your FI would be fine without having a BM. Your MOH should be able to carry both rings and can pass yours to him when she needs to.
Either that or ask someone that he thinks would like to do it. I wasn't that close with my MOH, but I asked her anyway and we've gotten closer since. He can use it as an opportunity to grow closer to someone.

I don't think there is any rule that says he has to have a best man. If there isn't one person who is more special than anyone else, then forego the BM.

My FH's best friend is a female and I told him that he could use her as a 'Best Woman' but she HAD to wear a dress. HE chose tradition and went with a very good male friend. We decided to make his friend a bridesmaid instead. I didn't even know her all that well but if she means that much to him, then she means that much to me. She cried when we asked her AND her kids!
Do what makes you most comfy, but my offer still stands. I love weddings!

he has a very small and older family no one that he is close to his parents are 70-75 yrs old and i think he has only on living uncle. he is in a tough situation.

Do you have a family member that he finds himself close too??? maybe your brother, cousin, sister, uncle etc... that would defently be a nice touch!

That's a tough situation...if there are really no males that your FH can think of to honor with the title of Best Man, then perhaps a Best Woman is a possibility. I hope everything works out okay!
