We have a wedding to go to Saturday at 11am at the Crescent Beach Club, do you think he should wear a full suit? He has nice tan linen pants that I was thinking he could wear with a button down but is that too casual? Looking for some input
Thanks ladies

what should my Husband wear
We went to a summer wedding here not too long ago and FH wore a suit. I would say unless the invite says casual or the bride told you she wants people to come in casual attire, wear a suit. But this is just my opinion, others may not agree

no problem, does he own a light colored suit? My fiance makes it about 15 minutes with the jacket on and maybe another 10 before the tie comes off and sleeves get rollow up. And he thinks a 60 degree day requires a/c so I understand :)

LOl that's how he will be too. I think i'm going to buy him a lighter weight / colored suit today this way he can't complain. Thanks again

I think he'd be ok to wear the pants, tie, shirt of the suit but no jacket.

My FMIL is very worried that men won't wear suits to our wedding since it's at bridgeview 'yacht club'. We're putting black tie optional on the invite for this reason. I think men should always wear a suit unless it says not to on the invite. So often they end up taking off their jacket and tie during dancing anyway! Maybe because it's so early he has some leeway-- but I think better to be safe than sorry. I think this is why most people put an attire section on their wedding website. My best friend had a 'fancy casual' wedding. Yes, that was a type of dress! Slacks and button downs (no suits) for men and summer dresses/pants outfits for women. It was interesting, but what she wanted! I think all the different categories are so strange!

if this wedding was at night I wouldn't even question it, I guess I'm thinking because it is at 11am-4pm that maybe he could get away with a little less formal, plus they are getting married on the beach right there so Hubby is going tobe annoyed about sand I his socks lol
