I just received my limo contract via fax. Since I'm in California, my mom went to go look at the cars. After she looked she told me to pick the white 10 passenger limo. I called to book it and they faxed over the info, but the contract says 4 hours under the 'eight passenger limo' section. I called to tell them I had said the white 10 pass. and the woman said not to worry, I will get that car that my mom saw and that she didn't put it in the contract under 10 pass. since she is charging me the price of an eight passenger limo. So I said 'So you can ensure that I will get the car that my mom saw today?' and she said yes. What do I do? The contract doesn't even say white on it. I feel like an idiot being all paranoid. Should I just write 'white' next to my '8 passenger limo' section?

I would make sure that everything you want (color, number of passengers, etc.) in your contract. Always make sure that everything is stated there, so that youhave written proof.

I believe the limo holds '8 to 10' passengers, however, if it makes you nervous, next to 8 passenger place an asterick there and state that it is to accommodate 10 passengers as agreed on _____ (place the date you spoke to the woman with her name there) and also indicate the color you want - - then sign and return the copy asking them to note your comments.

Location and full address of Pick-up for Bride Location and full address of Pick-up for Groom Type of car to be use and total seating capacity for each car. (i.e. 10 passenger Lincoln Town car) Color of limos (white limos cost more than black) Time of pick-ups Date of wedding Time of ceremony Time of reception Location and full address for ceremony and reception Exact amount or percentage of deposit Form of deposit (cash only, credit card, certified check, money order, personal check) Form of final payment (cash only, credit card, certified check, money order, personal check) Amount of final payment Final payment due date (usually one week before wedding) Overtime fees? If so, after what hour? After 5 hours of limo usage is O/T? Alcohol included cars (beer, champagne, water, soda with glasses) Emergency bridal kit (safety pins, band-aids, etc.) Any extra charges such as balloon launch, 'Just Married sign' attached to back of car? Total amount of hours for limo usage Gratuity fees Sales tax percentage Parking, bridges, tolls fees included or extra? Attire of limo drivers? Park site photos? If so, permit is required. I can relate, I had 4 wedding to go to last year. Which came out to four bridal showers, and two engagement parties. And this all happened in the span of 4 months... Plus my sister in law had a baby so include a baby shower and christianing in there.
One wedding was in England, and my FI was in the BP, so off we flew....
This year we only have three plus our own. What are you going to do!

Make them refax you a new contract & have them write ALL SPECIFICS and have them initial every part of the contract they change!!!
