Hi everyone..I need your help with this..all i have done so far is book the hall and the florist..i haven't had any time for anything else because i was taking a summer class..now i have about 3 weeks before school starts again and i need to know what i should be working on while i have the time..do i start looking for a dress..do i do the dj? what else is there to do before next year...i'm too overwhelmed and i don't want to wait too long to book something that needs to be booked early..thank you so much for your help..

good photographers go fast!!!! And some dresses like eve of milady can take up to 10 months to get once ordered ( I dont think all of them)

Definitly go for your dress. Sometimes it doesn't take long but I've heard stories when it does take a long time. GO SHOPPING!!!

okay so so far its photograher and dress..no worries about the dj or should i just let fh handle that when he can next month?

I guess thats up to you. Most DJ companies do more then 1 wedding at a time b/c they have a big staff. but if there is a specific dj or mc you want to use then that might be a problem ( for example I need an MC who can speak italian and my dj company has a lot of mc's but only one who speaks fluent italian) also you are getting married in prime busy season for weddings... just another reason to get it done

My advise is to book the things their is only one of ie: church/temple, hall, band/dj & photographer. Then dress, BM dresses, limos, block hotels (if needed), invites, rings, rehearsal dinner, hair & make-up, and the other 300 things.

No extra cost from him speaking italian just the extra cost of having both a dj and mc but that was something we wanted anyway. We have heard our actual mc live at an anniversary party at jericho terrace and everyone loved him!! esp the old italian people! lol We went with starlight express dj's. If you need there info let me know.

you need to get the photographer, limo, videographer (if you are using one), church and your dress.
