at the 'Love Table' does it matter who sits on which side?

I don't know if it matters, I've seen it both ways.

I sat on the right, closer to DH's family and DH sat on the left closer to my family.

The bride should sit on the right (as you are looking out onto the hall/your guests) The BM or Bridal attendant should have it set for you so you don't have to worry about it.

I was curious, because we are creating our seating arrangements, and wanted to put family on side according to us.
