what slip?

hi ladies.. ok so i couldn't find my dream dress since it was discontinued so i am using a dress i bought and adding to it to make it into my dream dress... the problem is i want the bottom to poof out more... what type of slip can i use? here is dress and how i want the poof to be... i have seen fishtail, mermaid, fit and flare. but which is the right one?

also adding sleeve and back part to cover upper back.... the entire dress ( top pic) will be covered with the beaded lace i purchased to match) my other question is do you think i could make this dress as a tight mermaid ? or does it flow better like the dress above? also here is the fabric i purchased to cover the dress like in the dress photo above..

SO Question is what slip and do you think it could be made like last pic? or third pic?

what slip? - Long Island Weddings

the second dress looks like more of a mermaid, so I guess a mermaid slip would probably work

I don't think you can just change the silhouette of the dress with a slip. You'll probably have to have alterations to change it into a fit and flare or mermaid. The dress right now is more of an a-line, so you would just need an a-line crinoline to make it poof into a fuller skirt.

I think who ever is making the dress would need to take in the dress in the hips/thigh area and then it would give it more of that structure as opposed to just using the slip.

I think the other silhouette will work better. I'm not too sure if you'll get that second look with a slip. That first dress i gorgeous though congrats.
