What small thing, if any, irked or annoyed you on your wedding day!?!?!

well thank you but believe me inside I was dying... my knees were shaky all day from being so weak from the food poisoning.

Again my advice to any bride DO NOT eat anything that you or someone from home didnt prepare yourselves the week before the wedding.

oh and ONE more thing... they lost about 15 placecards and then the maitr'd comes to me and says there are 15 people that dont know where to sit do I know where they should sit??!! I was about to slap her LOL

I had a few things that annoyed me. These were things that I had no control over so I didn't let it bother me for long. I numbered them in the oder of importance to me.

1. My bouquet flowers weren't fresh and the orchids keep falling off.
2. My ceremony flowers were not what I ordered, I hated them.
3. My limo driver drove off with the BM bouqets.
4. My favors were placed on the table standing on the side instead of laying flat. My favors are quite big so I guess they did this to save room on the table.
5 For once the forecast was correct so I was prepared! Tropical Storm Hanna was on my wedding day. I was a little bummed out that I can't use the roof terrace and solarium for my CH because of the rain.

our florist brought the wrong flowers, and they brought everything i explicitly asked them not to... but luckily my mom peeked and saw the florist screwed up and it was fixed before the ceremony.

a waffle malfuction made the fire alarm go off during the anniv dance.. lol

other than that.. alll was ok

Its really interesting to read these the week before my wedding. I know you can only prepare so much and hope for the best. It does seem that a lot of the disappointments had to do with flowers. How ironic since they charge so much for them.

Where shall I start??????

1. Our 'celebrity party planner' tried to make us have an outside cocktail hour. WE WON THAT FIGHT.

2. Our poor amazing really sweet and very kind limo drivers were forced to make us get in the cars in the middle of a down pour when if we would have waited 10 mins it would have passed.

3. Our ceremony was delayed 35 mins and our poor guests had to wait in a tent with broken air conditioning.

4. I HATED my hair but had to go with it because that is what the host of the show chose for me.


8/8/13, DH and I are going to Vegas, just us and a handful of friends and our parents and doing it OUR way!!!

I was annoyed my shoes hurt way too early in the evening!

IT WAS A TROPICAL STORM!

The limo broke down with the guys in it on the way to the church so it delayed our ceremony...that extra 20 mins meant that we missed taking pics outside of the church with the bubbles and family because it started to rain!! instead I had to run into the car with unbrellas...LOL

also, there was a mixed up with our table numbers and that STILL bothers me...but in the end nobody else was really upset and our DOC worked it out perfectly!

My Bo-K...I wanted it full of calla lilies but instead I got like 8 (mini ones!!)

We had 2 stretch suv limos one the the BP and one for parents/grandparents. Going from church to RH there was no room for DH's 2 aunts and mom (they practicality raised him) I ran out of our rolls royce and tried to get them to squeeze in or else I would of felt really bad for them. One his mom ended up in one of the limos. We did have a huge BP so that took up alot of space.

Overall nothing really mattered to much anymore b/c it was such an amazing day but there were things that annoyed me (my mom says it's b/c I'm a perfectionist) anyways....

1. The bm boq's had the wrong color calla lily in it. I stressed this from the beginning I wanted the darkest calla (it's called a black calla) well the guy kept trying to talk me into the burgandy color one, well I should of known they went ahead and put the burgandy ones in there and day of I had to call them, complain and someone came out to dye them darker but they ended up looking bluish color it irks me when I look at the pictures.

2. My boq was not ALL white as I asked, the white peonies in it were streaked with a fushia color God knows where that came from? It wasn't too bad though b/c you really don't see it at all in the pics.

3. My cake flowers were all wrong. (I had a lot of flower probs as you can tell). I asked for the lightest shade of baby pink almost white. Well I got this greenish pink shade of roses that was so ugly they looked dirty against the white cake (I had no idea that roses even came in this color)

4. My photographers were late getting to the reception DH and I were waiting for them. It's a simple route they've been to the RH many times before (like a 15 min drive) and they left before us!

5. We had an after party in the city, which was nice but I thought we'd be there for maybe one drink and leave to our hotel but no we stayed really late we were like the last ones to leave....needless to say I was soooo exhausted hadn't eaten ANYthing and not in the best of moods at that point.

6. DH left the cardbox unattended in the Limo when were were leaving the RH and saying goodbyes, after I stressed guard it with your life 10x

I was just thinking that this might be a good thread to start since many of us are married but there are some girls who are still getting ready for their big day!

What was the one thing that you irked or annoyed you on your wedding day...

I'll start...

I was annoyed that some of my table clothes weren't ironed for the place card table and sign in table - it looked like they had just been opened!!!! So stupid and I'm sure no one noticed but I did!!!! Also some of my bridesmaids dresses were not that well ironed and were wrinkly - but in the end it was alright.

I'm so glad you started this thread, thank you. I still get annoyed by a few little things that happened and I was afraid to say anything.

One, my dj didnt play our requests to each other and my grandmothers favorite song which I specifically told him to play.

Two, my awesome MIL wore a black dress but her sister, best friend, and niece all wore white dresses... thats right all white dresses (with no design on it)

Third, my photographer didnt take some pics I asked him to take and then I forgot about it so they were never taken.

Last, my mother acted like a jerk and cried the entire day (not out of happiness, for attention)

I still will say it was the most amazing day of my life and I wish I could do it all over again..

only 1 thing that didn't annoy me, no, i loathed it..my centerpieces. they were not how i intended. they were awful. but no sense caring now, it's over.

I TOTALLY KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!!! Although I am sure yours were beautiful!

A few things annoyed me

1. Flowers- my bok was smaller then it was supposed to be and the BM's bok's were different then discussed, even though they were very nice

2. The band was excellent, but missed a few songs i really wanted them to play.

3. MIL caused a scene at the wedding , my DH cancelled the mother/son dance and sent her home early it was that bad.

a few tiny details otherwise , but nothing worth even mentioning

-My flowers... my boq was so tiny...my bridesmaids boq's actually looked better than mine...my centerpieces were set up wrong.

-One of the groomsmen was a no-show...didnt care because it evened out the bridal party.

-One of the groomsmen was a P.I. my A. He refused to ride in the limo, refused to listen to direction when it was time to take pictures, and took off his jacket...i told him he could take it off after the pictures were done and he got an attitude, he got drunk later on and HOGGED the video...cant wait to see the raw footage

-My aunts friend thought my reception was going to be a party...she changed into what I like to call 'bingo night attire'. She looked like she was going grocery shopping.

-I wanted to fix my own plate at the cocktail hour...but they fixed one for me...I was looking foward to eating certain things...

-WM screwed up and forgot to put out a table (even though I listed it along with all the people sitting there) They came to ME while we were just learning about the car accident with DH's family. My mother runs in behind them and says 'OH MY GOD MY BOSS IS STANDING IN THE MIDDLE of THE FLOOR WITH NO SEAT!!

that's a good question! hmm, for me I'd say no just because some things are truly out of anyone's control
