Should I dance with my brother to. My father passed away and my brother is going to be giving me away. I am not super close with him, but he is my oldest brother!
Any suggestions??

yeah, he's great. Well I have 5 brothers and they are great, each had and still have a very special role in my life... fulfilling the void of my dad!

Re: What Song...
My brother in law is walking me down the aisle. My father passed away as well. I'm going to dance with him to 'Wind Beneath My Wings' by Bette Midler and dedicate it to my grandmother (Mom) who raised me. It was her favorite song.

I am trying to get my FH do meet with a photographer in the beginning of April.. (he thinks we have more time to book everything)
I was actually thinking of taking my pic at Old Westbury Gardens.. do you know anyting about that?
I know there is a fee involved.

Re: What Song...
FH dad passed away also and for his sister's wedding, she and FH danced to 'Tears in Heaven'. There wasn't a dry eye in the place. But thats only if you're not looking for something upbeat and fun

Re: What Song...
just a thought--since you're not close enough to your brother to choose a sappy song that would ring true, maybe you could dedicate a song to your dad and dance to it with your brother. i could see myself doing something like that (my dad died also).

That is a good Idea...I am using it to dance with my stepfather, so I am partial to this song
