What song are you using for your 1st dance?

At Last - Etta James' version. We have always thought that song fit us, although there are so many beautiful songs out there it really is hard to choose.

We decided on Norah Jones' Come Away with me. Some other songs we had been thinking about, which I would still like played at the wedding are: Come What May, from Moulin Rouge
Can You Feel the Love Tonight by Elton John
Beautiful in My Eyes by Joshua Kadison

Edited to say: Also, we are thinking about Billy Joel's You're My Home.

I personally want Me and You by Kenny... the words are more than perfect... FH isn't a big country fan but I'm trying to convince him

I have no frikkin idea

We were going with In Your Eyes for awhile but changed our minds since it's a hard song to slow dance to.

I was thinking of a few others like a song Rod Stewart sings on his latest CD or there's a song that's in Four WEddings and a Funeral that I like but FH really wants this George Strait song that is nice but not my type of music.

If I can't decide on anything that FH also likes we'll just go with his choice. To me In Your Eyes will always be 'our song' anyway since it's the first one we slow danced to and it's my favorite song of all time anyway.

I wanted 'Come away with me' by Norah Jones soooooooo bad to be our 1st dance but my soon to be says it's to slow but i'm gonna keep pushing for it is a beautiful song!

We are using 'When You Say Nothing At All' by Allison Krauss.
FH is a bit on the shy/quiet side, the opposite of me, so it is appropriate. It is also on The Other Sister soundtrack.

Amazed by Lonestar or Take Me Home by Don Henley.. words are perfect in that song. another beautiful one is newer one by Sade.. cant think of the title off the top of my head..

We will be using 'The Luckiest' by Ben Folds. We actually got engaged to the song at his concert at Central Park.

Theresa that is such a great song to dance to and Ive never seen a couple to the hustle before thats original! We actually are thinking of doing that to the song If I Cant Have You but we are looking to take lessons on doing the hustle first. That would be our first song and our second song is either Amazed or I just heard a Marc Anthony song that I love but dont know the name, if you go to his website part of the song is playing. Theresa good choice in first dance and I sent you forum mail.
