well since we're getting married in a church, I am limited to what the church allows.
for the prelude to walking down the aisle, i am going to have the organist play Piano Sonata No. 8 in C Minor... the entire WP (including me) are walking down to 'Canon in D' and the recessional will be 'A Midsummer's Night Dream, Op 71'.

My party is walking down to Canon in D and Im walking down to Here comes the bride, the recession we're exiting to some song we havent picked yet. :)

well definitely check with your church because it cam vary. I know mine is strict about the music. Has to be 'church' music.

You're right, I have to put that on the list of questions to ask....I know I don't want the organ, its volume freaks me out lol, and I'm a pianist, so I just want piano. Maybe non traditional music would be allowed if it was their guy playing it on the piano........

I haven't thought of this yet either, but most likely here comes the bride! I'm traditional and its the song you always heard growing up when you think of 'the bride'. OMG thinking about this is soo exciting!!!

Since my Fh and I are really into music making and he's taught me alot. I think I might write and record my own special song dedicated to him... We're getting married at the RH so no restrictions there

I was thinking... I really don't want to use the organist but I don't know if my priest allows recorded music... I would think so right? As long as it's 'church' music, who cares if it's being played live or from a recording.
