I have an appointment with my music coordinator this weekend. I have been listening to wedding CDs all week but still can't decide which song I want to walk down the aisle to - I'm torn between the traditional 'Here Comes the Bride' (called something else but can't remember what) and something like 'Canon in D'. What is everyone else doing? My SIL tells me 'Here Comes the Bride' is the only song that is 'drmatic' enough for my walk down the aisle???

It's called Pachelbel Canon in D....

using pachebel canon also. i don't like here comes the bride. FMIL was like 'why don't you want to go down to here comes the bride, everyone uses it' I said 'EXACTLY' back off lady!! (even though a lot of people are using Canon d, its still more original than here comes the bride)

I think I am going to use an instrumental (on flute) of the song (was originally a duet) 'With you I'm born again'
The melody is beautiful and has a very emotional feel to it. Lyrics to this song

I walked down to the theme from Life is Beautiful. It is beautiful and my DH and I just loved it.
