What song did you or are you walking down the aisle to?
I'm a little upset... I just got off the phone with the music director from my church and she is refusing to let me walk down the aisle to Canon. I thought a lot of brides walk down to that, but she's telling me that's for the bridesmaids???
Please help! Thanks!!!!!

That's very strange that she 'won't let you'.....it's your wedding!!! UGH!!! I'm sorry!
I'm using Canon for parents and BP enterance.
I'm walking into Trumpet Voluntary. It's very pretty. Maybe she'll let you do that.
Did she say why you can't use Canon?

A lot of brides walk down to Canon. I like it, but personally think that it has been overplayed.
I like classical music, FM thinks I am weird. There is so much pretty music out there, and I did not want to use the 'traditional' wedding music.
I am walking to Vivaldi, Guitar Concerto in D Major Largo. My BP is walking down to Bach, Air on a G String. (getting married at the RH, not church)
What does your music director recommend ?

traditional bride here. Moms, Grandparents & BP walked in to Cannon.

I'm coming in to an instrumental verion of Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles.
It's FH's favorite song - and it's so pretty, can't wait!

I'm walking down to Debussy's Clair de Lune---I have to find a string quartet arrangement of some sort.
I know some girls are using the traditional 'here comes the bride', but did you know that it was originally written for a funeral mass???!! I'm a music teacher and I know a lot of useless information....FM me for any other useless music tips! lol!

I decided not to be 'traditional' because I wanted the songs to mean something to me. I can't wait to be standing there at the end of the aisle, looking toward FH, as my song comes on.

I'm walking down to an instrumental (orchestral) version of 'If I Had the World to Give' by the Grateful Dead. I think my bridal party will walk down to an instrumental version of 'Something' by The Beatles.
