I was originally thinking In My life (but the version from Providence tv show, not the Beatles) but now I'm thinking it just wouldn't be right not to use a Sinatra song (we used to listen to Sinatra records and he taught me how to dance).

We're using 'Daddy's Home' from Shep and the Limelights. I used to wait by the door for my dad everynight when I was a little girl. He would sing this to me when he got home. It's been our song ever since.

My dad has recently been diagnosed with Pancreas Cancer. It's terminal. Let's just say I will be a basket case on my wedding day. I am such a daddy's girl. I'm sure there won't be a dry eye in the house.

Sorry to damper the mood. Sometimes it helps to say it or write it.

I am just tearing up after I read this.. As one Daddy's Girl to another, I can only say 'I'm Sorry' to hear about your dad's illness. I am sendingyou much love, prayers and joy as you share your wedding day with him!

I like the song by Josh Groban. Its from his new sound track it is called you raise me up. Go onto Joshgroban.com and you could listen to it. I am not dancing with my dad but with my mom. My fiancee will be dancing this song with his mother.

This was our thought too, but my mom now started to question it (because I told her I was watching Three Men and a Baby the other day and started to cry when Daddy's Girl, an old Peter Cetera song came on) So now my dad thinks that I don't want that. I'm so confused!!
