WHAT SONG IS....

EVERYONE WALKING DOWN THE AISLE TO?
I WAS THINKING ABOUT CANON IN D MAJOR BUT MY FRIEND JUST TOLD ME SHE IS USING IT FOR THE BP TO WALK DOWN TO AT HER WEDDING THIS SATURDAY!!!! I KNOW THIS IS SILLY BUT I REALLY DIDN'T WANT HER TO USE THAT SONG FOR THE BP!

I dont tell people my plans anymore because a few girls close to me thta are getting married have 'copied' some choice ideas of mine! *lol*

yea! I kind of figured that I guess I can still use the song but I am still trying to download others but I need ideas for classical/instrumental music.

If it was up to me ( which really it is, but no one would let me do it) I would walk down to something like 'Shes a Lady' by Tom Jones. Something upbeat. None of this sappy crap. I really wish I could just come in through the side door. I dont want all that attention on me. Maybe my fiance will want to walk down

I had the same song in mind, but a lot of my friends are using it. I guess it really doesn't matter cause people really aren't gonna remember what song played for 2 minutes when they had all their attention focused on you. But I got sample CDs from a couple string quartets to hear some choices, and there are a lot of nice choices. I'm growing very partial to Bach's Air on the G String.

i knew a bride who walked down the aisle to violins playing madonna's 'like a virgin' . . . i'm not kidding!

canon in d is beautiful and extremely popular - i think it's the law that bridesmaids have to walk down the aisle to it - every wedding i've attended or been a BM in has included it.

Bach's Air in G is gorgeous - also Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring. I'm partial to Beethoven's Ode to Joy.

Me too!! Canon D for the bridal party and I heard a pretty rendition of here comes the bride.

Canon D is SO beautiful, it gives me chills and usually makes me cry.

Awwww!!! I have Canon in D on CD in my car and I listen to it often It makes me think of how the ceremony is going to be! I'm such a corny bride! I can't wait!
