Another vote for 'This Woman's Work' by Kate Bush.. such a tearjerker. Always reminds me of that 80's movie with Kevin Bacon (She's Having A Baby?)

Also, 'In Your Eyes' by Peter Gabriel (another 80's movie!)

Women's Work always make me feel so many emotions actually. It is just one of those heart felt songs.
Where Were You is a song I find very hard to listen to, although I always do. I saw him perform it live last year and it was so emotional for me and everyone else there.
There is also a country song about a man who sends his wife a postcard from the airport that is a beach and 'wish you were here so I could see your face, the weather's nice in paradise, it's summer time all year' and on his way home his plane crashes! Days later she gets the postcard, as if he sent it from Heaven.
Just pick me off the floor.
And finally (or for now), the Garth Brooks song 'Last Dance'. It is about a man who is telling his X-girlfriend that he is glad he didn't know the last time they dance would be their final time because he would not change one minute of their time together. Again, I just tear up thinking of that.

Michele I agree with you on all those songs you said! 'Wish you were Here' by Mark Wills makes me cry along with 'Don't Laugh at Me ' (Mark Wills also).
Susans I just heard the song 'One Last Time' the other day. All I could picture was Lisa Beamer, it was sad I was crying on my way to work!

Definitely This Woman's Work. But also Another Auld Lang Syne...that's the Dan Fogelberg one they play every Christmas on the radio. It's not a Christmas song, really, but it takes place during that season. At the end when he sings, 'just for a moment I was back in school and felt that old familiar pain...and when she turned to make her way back home, the snow turned into rain...,' I just tear up every time.

I danced with my Dad to 'My Daughter is a Bride'. Very sentimental song! :)

The theme from Upclose and Personal by Celine Dion, whom I normally cannot stand is the song I danced with my nanny to at her 75th birthday party. She was and will always be my angel. I cannot even hear the song without being effected for days, because every word is so true of our relationship.

I have a thing against songs that are MADE to make you cry like 'where were you when the world stopped turning' and 'have you forgotten' I hate those songs!!!! (no offense to those that like them... i am just so against any song that tries to preach to me and exploits tragedy)

'Remember me this way' by Jordan Hill reminds me of my sorority. We had a lot of good times and we had a lot of bad times and that song reminds me of all the good, but I just start crying when I hear it.
