I used 'butterfly kisses' for the father/daugther dance. Amd for cake cutting, it was a huge toss up between 'pour some sugar on me' [def leppard] or 'i got you babe' [sonny & cher]. Aince the cake cutting is supposed to be more romantic, I chose 'I got you babe'

i think my friend for her 2008 wedding is doing 'grow old with you' from the wedding singer....thats very cute! too bad adam sandler can't sing very well!

For the father/daughter dance my dad picked Turn Around by The Kingston Trio.

I think for cake cutting we're using 'sugar sugar' by the archies and mother/daughter (since my dad has passed) maybe 'Daughter' by John Mayer (I like it b/c its not too mushy just like my relationship w/ my mom!!

I am dancing with my dad to 'De Nina a Mujer'. I cry every time i hear it. We might even attempt a tango dance afterwards.
Suzanne, if there are songs that you and FH really like and you think is appropriate for the cake cutting I would go with that.
I've had two friends use ' When I'm Sixty- Four'- The Beatles and it was so so cute. Fh and I are going to use 'Ob la di Ob la da'. I was just listening to our iTunes and when this song came on it hit me as the perfect cake cutting song. I don't think we were even engaged yet.
