If you go, ask for Tracy...I really felt like she worked hard to find me the dress of my dreams. I came in there after trying on a bajillion dresses, I was totally at my wits end trying to find a dress and she just pulled dress after dress after dress and really listened to what I was saying (which to me is impressive because at that point I couldn't even describe wth it was that I wanted).

doris fashions in bklyn - maria was very nice ... the dress should be in by april ...

as for Kelly's -- i've known her for years and i knew that was the one place i did NOT want to go ...

I did DB. I wonder if I will regret it when it comes time for alterations, I hear they're a nightmare!


you dont have to use them for alterations... DB is one of the only places that they dont require you use them

sorry but i went in there just to look at BM dresses when I first got engaged and made a bee line out of there!


I almost purchased my dress there, until I called Valentina & got the same dress for $1,000 less!!!!!!!!!! she is such a rip off & she was down right nasty to my mom.

i looked at Doris for bridesmaids dresses & they where very helpful. however, when i was there the store had a strange odor (mold) & my sister said that when she tried on the dresses the all had the same smell. then i heard from a friend that when she picked up her gown it had the same smell.

tried on and fell in love with my dress at wedding salon of manhasset. they're great, and mary was so wonderful. however i didn't buy my dress from there bc i was able to get it for less through a family friend. it's now at adrienne's in islip. can't say much re their customer service bc i've only been there once and it was before the store was open for regular business.

Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. I think they've gotten mixed reviews on here but I had the best experience. It was the first place I went and I canceled my remaining appts at Kleinfeld and Mark Ingram.

i did notice something but i attributed it to the store being there for like a hundred years, lol ... thanks for the info though -- i'll be sure to air it out! ...

I bought mine at the Pronovias store. It was the best experience. I highly recommend it if you like their dresses. You get very individuaized attention, they stick within your budget and the showroom is so spacious and nice...no rummaging through overcrowded racks

Valentina's Bridal..free alterations, veil, headpiece, and the puffy skirt that you wear under the dress..plus excellent service
