Re: What style is your house

My parents house is a ranch...I would love to buy a Victorian though...with a wrap around porch.

Re: What style is your house

Are you in brownstone Stef? Can you tell me how they are laid out?

I have a cape cod but I wish it was a centerhall colonial or a 5 bedroom split (which are rare).

Re: What style is your house

We have a hi-ranch. I hate the layout. I can't wait to one day have the bedrooms on a floor all by themselves....

Re: What style is your house

We just moved into a
English Tudor
I've always wanted to live in one
However, it needs a lot of work
But, we're getting there.

Re: What style is your house

We have a New Orlean's wideline high ranch which basically means there's a full balcony across the front of the house - great for Mardi Gras!

Re: What style is your house

High ranch. With extensions which have probably doubled the size of an average high ranch. We got lucky

I also like split levels and colonials.
Center Hall colonials are gorgeous..
Splanches are kinda cool too.
Wow this took me back to the house hunting days

Re: What style is your house

We have a split level. I didnt realize how much I loved split levels until we bought this house. I also like high ranches.

Re: What style is your house

I think they called ours a farm ranch for some reason, maybe because of the porch and the attic rooms on the second floor. If I ever get to build the extensions and raise the second story roof line who knows what it will be.
