Re: What team does everyone root for?

Another HUGE Met fan here!!!!! Love baseball and the Mets!!! Glad to see there are a bunch of others.

Unfortunately, DH is a huge Yankee fan so the idea of getting married at Shea didn't go over well with him. I had planned on sending an invite to the Mets (DH wasn't happy) but when invitation time rolled around I was too busy and never got around to it. My wedding was the end of October and if the mets were in the playoffs, I said a tv in the hall would be necessary.....but we don't have to talk about last season. I read on the Mets website, you can have Mr met come to your wedding. I saw that after my wedding though. DH would have flipped. For all you Met fans, yu would have loved the BM speech. It was so geared to a Met fan! My whole family and most of our bridal party were huge Mets fans.

As for other sports...I root for Jets and Knicks. (although I am not a huge football fan....DH is a Jets fan so I have become one).

YANKEES all the way baby!!!

Re: What team does everyone root for?

when the yankees won the world series in 97 or 98 i dont remember the year, my office is right along the way of the parade march. so since i am very familiar with the area and all the side streets my cousin and i decided we wanted to see the parade and because we are so short we were able to squeeze our way to the front and next thing we knew we were walking along side the yankee floats. we just kept walking with the floats and pretending to be lost tourists.

Re: What team does everyone root for?

We are both Yankee fans. Baseball is the only thing I follow. Dale is a HUGE Jets fan. When we first started dating, he had Jets stuff everywhere in his house. True bachelor style. Needless to say, pieces of it started to disappear into the basement. hehehe.

I'm another mixed house. FH is a big Yankee fan
I'm hoping he makes the switch soon! (He'd kill me if he knew I wrote that!!!)

Every other sport we agree on...Giants, Rangers, Knicks.
