I am so upset.... I just got home form work just now and I have received my FIFTH present from my Macy's registry tonight! It seems Macy's is just sending all internet orders to my house meanwhile the people who are buying me the gifts THINK they are going to them! While I appreciate everything I have gotten, now all the surprise is completely gone! Not only that, I know if I purchased a gift and it got sent to the people's house by error, I would be super upset!! I just hope no one feels bad now.. ..

oh no.....I think if that happens to me my SIL will be soooooooo upset because she is trying to keep the whole shower a surprise and I keep trying to find things out. I am like a 5 yr old on Christmas!!

oh that stinks!!!!!! call them asap and hopefully they can straighten this out...in the meantime when u get mail just dont open it..have someone else do it so ur surprise is not ruined..im sorry u think these companies could not screw up so much

I work for Bed Bath and Beyond, and I know that when something is purchased off one of our registries, it will automatically get sent to the bride unless otherwise specified. Perhaps Macy's is the same way and it's just not clear enough when people are checking out?

I don't know that is what I thought too.. My godmother placed another order to see what happens and they don't even give a person the option to have it sent to themselves! It just automatically comes to me and they have no way of knowing! FHs friend said the same thing happened when they registered at Macy's.. So far I have no received anything from BBB in error even though I know things were purchased off the registry..

Awww...I'm sorry. My sister actually warned me of this happening to her friends so she told me before I open anything to make sure it's from somewhere that I actually ordered from, and then just hand it over to her. Does it say anywhere on it who ordered it...? Maybe that way you can still call them and explain? I hope it all gets cleared up...

Aww that does stink. did you contact them about that? I dont think the guests will be upset with you over it. if it were me id understand its the stores fault.. these things happen. but thats just me. Anyway I sorry... i hope they get their sh*t together.
