I actually think its a good idea for people to watch this and realize how important it is not to friggin run as if you're running for your life when the train arrives or is about to take off and be more careful...I've seen so many people get hurt...falling down the stairs, knocking into people...I mean jeesh chill...be careful...thats the message.

You give our society too much credit. I was once thought like that....really...thought certain things were 'common sense'....but now...nope...not anymore....
ETA: You know those folks in Manhattan that run through the cross-walk even though they don't have the walk sign, and there's a car coming at them at 60mpg....why is that a shock that when you get hit....it's going to hurt? Again...common sense...DO NOT DO IT.

Thats so true, I never understand people who do that, i mean why? To gain 20 seconds? Why risk your life? I have heard horror stories from LIRR back when they had the old trains people could jump onto as it was starting to move!
