sweetheart table-where you and your new DH sit during reception candle ceremony-during ceremony you each have a candle and then take both to light a unity candle where you both become one
cry pack- small package with tissues for guests

I think a lot of things are a waste of time and money. petal cones are made to hold the petals if you want them thrown at your ceremony instead of rice, bubbles, bird seed. Im personally filling a basket and having everyone take a hand full. I think making the cones is a waste because they are going to be thrown out 2 seconds after giving them out.

That's a lot of petal cones. I'm with you, as I think a lot of things are a waste of time and money. But I'm sure there are things I'm doing that other brides might think is a waste of money. Like....... um, nevermind, I can't think of something. (Just kidding brides. Everyone has a vision of their day.) I totally appreciate all the help as I'm not used to living on Long Island.
OH! I thought of something. Many brides have told me that Sandals is too much for a honeymoon. But we chose it because I've never been on a vacation, ever.

cry pack its a little pack you make and put a tissue in and usually hand them out at church for tears of joy etc.....
petal cones you make and put rose petals in them and agian are given at church for guests to throw at bride/groom exiting church here are some pictures i found of petal cones and cry packs

i felt the same way about some of those things...especially cry packs.
another thing i was confused on was 'slipper baskets', and one bride said she was buying a bunch of those chinese slippers to give to her guests for when their feet hurt later from dancing, and instead of everyone walking around barefoot, they could take a slipper from the basket and continue dancing.
anyone doing this? (i know i'm NOT) lol

Not doing slipper baskets. I figure with an open bar they won't be feeling their feet after a while anyway.

Totally doing it-I went to a wedding at Lands End that had them and it was great-I kicked off my sandals at the end of the night, and could still dance. Loved it!
