What threadcount sheets are the best and worth the $$$? We currently have one set of 550 (i think) from Costco and they are really nice, but I'm looking at BBB's website and they have so many options. I'm not crazy about the ones that come with our bedding (too expensive for 400 thread count IMO) so we're just going to register for 2 plain sets from BBB instead. I have no idea which to pick!
There is 500, 620, 800, 1000 -- does it really make a big difference? is 800 or 1000 worth the $$$? what do you have?

Re: What threadcount sheets?
I suggest a threadcount between 300 and 600...anything more than that is excessive in my opinion.

I think we have either 500 or 600 on the registry....but I have never had anything above 300 so I'm sure it will feel like luxury!!

what threadcount? 300 reminds me of icky dorm sheets and our current set is nice, but i'm having trouble deciding if its worth going for 620, 800, or 1000 and if so which!

Re: What threadcount sheets?
I've had 2 twin sets of 400 count sheets-- CHARTER CLUB DAMASK STRIPE (from Macys) to be exact, and LOVE them! They come in all sorts of colors, and I love the quality, soft as butter! I registered for a couple more Queen sets...original price is $130, but they go on sale for $90 (and occassionally less). I say they're worth every penny!

the duvet we have right now is from that line
BBB brand has a 620 thread count set for that much (before the 20% off) so we're looking at all of our options. which are too many!

I think mine were 600 but we ended up getting them on our own at a great deal from Fortunoff.

Re: What threadcount sheets?
We registered for the 600 count Hotel Collection from Macy's. When we were looking, some woman at the store couldn't stop raving how these were the most comfy sheets ever! Right now I have the Charter Club- Damask for Duvet & sheets and they are awesome too!!
