I will never ever go out to eat on Valentine's day, Mother's day or Father's Day. The food is always substandard with lousy service. We usually get lobsters and cook them here.

We try to do V-Day a week before or after because of this...plus a lot of restaurants jack up their prices for their V-Day menus.

We are going away to the sweetest place on earth.....can anyone guess, why yes its the Hershey Hotel in Hershey Pennsylvania. Has anyone ever been there?? I was watching the travel channel and it says everything on their menu is somehow related to chocolate, I cannot wait. we will be there from the 13th thru the 15th .

I love Hershey, PA! We used to go every Labor Day for the park and usually one other time during the year.
Never stayed in Hershey Hotel, but I hear it's wonderful!!
Us, we have a bottle of champagne. We'll probably cook at home and drink that. No biggie

Re: What time are your reservations for...
DH and I went to Milleridge last year for Val Day and I was soooo disappointed. We had a great experience 4 years ago, so he surprised me w/ reservations... They sat us at the smallest table in the house upstairs, we had to ask for the yummy bread FOUR times, and our waiter was horrible!!!!!! Honestly, the entree wasn't anything to write home about. Sorry for the vent!
This year we'll be eating at home.

This sounds like my kind of getaway. Have a great time!!!
ETA: Hubby and I up to now we plan to stay home and relax. As long as we have eachother that all that matters. Most likely i will cook a nice dinner and just be together.

7pm at Trumpets on the Bay!
Shamma!!! I have been to the hotel hershey, the accomodations were pretty nice, the food was so-so at the hotel, I was a bit dissapointed. The spa looked amazing, but I didn't get to go.... They really do shove the chocolate down your throat there!! At check in, at check out, maid service, nightly turn down, etc. The bath products in the room are actually chocolate scented too.....I actually was SICK of chocolate by the time we left! I am sure a refined lady like yourself will be getting a spa treatment while you are there, so ENJOY!!!!
