Would you say it's later than 10pm for an 8-12 reception? I cant remember from past weddings I've been to.
This is a little random but I'm trying to figure out how long I actually need a videographer at the wedding. His basic package is 6 hours and it's more important to me that he is there earlier in the day vs the last 2 hours of the night but I don't want him to miss the cake cutting.
Thanks ladies!

I'm thinking later than 10pm, but I would discuss with your videographer as he probably has a better idea. My videographer said she would stay until then regardless of what time it was.

Are you having your videographer leave early so to speak as well?

Yes, she will most likely be leaving a little bit early. I have 9 hours of coverage starting at 1 and going until 10pm, but my reception is 7-11. She also said they would make sure they didn't miss anything, so it seems like she will stick around if there is still a lot to be captured.

Mine was around 10pm and the videographer was there for most of the day with the photographer.
