I usually leave at 830 and start at 9 sometimes I start at 8

I leave the house 7:30 or so and am lucky to get there a few minutes before 9, which is when I start. I envy those with the short commutes!

Depends most days leave at 8:50 start work at 9 or leave at 7:50 start at 8. I live around the corner :)

I start work at 9:30 -- usually get here between 9:30 and 10!!!!
What time I leave depends on which way I'm going and how many times I hit the snooze button!!
For instance, today I left my house at 8:25 -- more then enough time one would think to get from Maspeth to Manhattan -- NOT!! I stood waiting for the bus -- as 4 went past me w/o stopping -- for over a half-hour. I got to work at 9:50!!!!!
Now, if I drive back to good old Astoria, and leave my house by 8:15, I'll be at work on time!!! IF I don't hit the snooze button too many times!!!
This commute from Maspeth has been a major sore point for me since I got married!!! How is it possible that it takes my husband less time to get to his job in Jersey, then it does for me to get to Manhattan -- and Maspeth is 'closer' than Astoria was!!!!! This is number one on my hate list for this neighborhood!!! LOL
Ok, I totally went off on 50 tangent and vented away!! Bad day to ask this, huh?
