What time does your weddjng start and what time will the invite say?

I know most say either half hour before or exact time . My ceramony starts 11:30am and the riviera opens at 10 so we are going to get as many pictures as possible. I'm afraid if I put 11 then people will show up at 10:45 and if I put 11:30 by the time they file in and go outside they will be late. I wanted 11:15 but I'm hearing not good to put on an invite. The only saving grace we have is we have no bridal party. Just my two kids . Parents brothers and sisters . Any advice?

Hmm...We will be putting 6 when it actually starts around 6:15-6:30. That was recommended by our BM, as it's a Friday night and people may trickle in a few mins late. Can you put 11:30 and start at 11:45?

We put 3:00pm on our invite, and I plan on starting as close to 3 as possible!! I want to be able to enjoy part of my cocktail hour!!

we put 6 and started at 6. there were a few stragglers, but honestly, mostly everyone was there. the stragglers were people who are normally late or knew they would be late.

I was at a wedding Friday night where the invite said 5 but the ceremony wasn't supposed to start until 5:30 which I knew in advance but if I hadn't, I would have been there at 4:45. THEN the bride was 30 min late because 'she's just always late.. Hee hee'. Not cute. I think putting the actual time will be fine.. There will always be stragglers no matter what.

I put the exact time and put promptly in front of it. Ours starts at 8:15pm so I was going to put 8pm instead but then people would have gotten there at 7:45pm. My venue said that there really isn't any place for people to hang out and wait. So I just put promptly 8:15pm. I hope it works out but either way I'm walking down the aisle regardless if theres some stragglers or not lol

So I landed up putting 11am. I have a champagne cart(for the early drinkers lol) and The Riviera said they can easily sneak me away if I am outside and people come early. I don't have a bridal party so that is the only thing that is going to help us with time.

I have not decided the time but do want a later wedding so the event goes on well into the evening

The wedding ceremony starts at 2 so we put 2, lol.

Our Ceremony starts at 2pm, so we put 2pm. If guests are late, then we will lock them out lol
