What to ask for for Xmas

so my mom was asking me what i wanted for xmas last night ...and i told her just money ...but holidays are a big deal with my family and my mom hates giving money .....soooo i figured that she can start buying me stuff for the wedding ...i just dont know what ....any ideas ladies?
is anyone else gonna do this?

I don't know if my family is actually going to listen to what I tell them I WANT for christmas (cause they haven't really in the past) but I'm going to tell them anyway.

I know one thing I'm asking for is the last set of my everyday silverware which I haven't bought yet cause I'm short on cash and I really wanna get cause I'm afraid it's going to be discontinued. Other than that I'm just going to keep telling them I want stuff for my imaginary apartment.

Great Question, my mom asked the samr thing last night, somehow, I agreed to get up @ 4:30am next friday to $hop til we drop w/ her (& my brother & cousins)... Apparently ca$h was not the answer she wanted... I'm thinking a new digital camara and maybe some DIY supplies for wedding related crafts....

I'm (almost 100%sure) doing my CP's myself, so maybe the base & the silk flowers, although we would probley clean up w/ the after holiday sales...

My cousin & his husband bought us our Toasting flutes last year as our gift for the holidays... We were engaged last DEC. 16th. They wanted to start a tradition where the last married couple buys the next couple to be married their flutes , It 2was so cute!!!

* Althoguh my cousin got engaged in Sept (06) and is planning to get married 1-08, so we won't be the next couple to be married, but the thoguht was so beautiful & sweet

I told my mom and sister to get things of fmy registry...lol I know they won't get them though. and she won't give me cash.

i dont have one yet ...but maybe we'll go this weekend and make one ..i really dont need that much stuff for the house though ...we bought everything when we moved in

thats so funny u should bring this up...

My mom asked me this morning cuz shes sending my brother in NC a big box of stuff for the holidays (his first year not home for xmas)

and money is tight this year so i didnt want to ask for then ew digital camera i want thats 250... so..i told her i dont know and shes like im not getting u anything else that you could get at a shower (i think shes gunna go crazy with the gifts when it comes time thats why) plus my family will be really generous with the registry!... so... what do i ask for.. i ask for scrubs for work but their like 5 bucks..lol.. so i think if i dont ask for anything else but the camera maybe that will be ok???

I think that would be ok, althiough if you think $250 is alot to ask for ask for a lesser model

i have a simple one.. but the pics are a little blurry and im really into photog. so i want a really nice good camera!... specially with the wedding and showers and honeymoon!

I'm asking for practical things that i don't necc. want to register for...like a paper shredder, photo printer/scanner, memory cards for my digital camera, monogrammed stationary, gift cert for facial ,etc...

I have a big family LOL

So funny bc my mom and I were just having this conversation. SOOO me and FH decided to ask for American Express gift certificates from everyone bc we want to buy a plasma. (FH thinks we can put that on our registry...lol) so this way we can save up some money to get the television we want. I only feel this way bc we have already received gifts and we can get other things we need at our shower. And with the American Express gift card we can go wherever we want to purchase the TV!!!!!!!!!!!!
