We are getting married in July of 2014 and so far we booked the church (albeit they wrote our info on a post-it so I'm definitely calling back), the reception hall, photographer/videographer, DJ, and a photobooth.
What else is left to do? When are we supposed to be booking our limos and flowers and everything? I'm looking for my dress in September. Am I just supposed to wait now until it gets closer?

you could do flowers next...I did mine a year out so I could see what would be in season at that time.

If you want a particular vendor, I see no harm booking so far in advance. It doesn't hurt & you know you have them!

For the dress, I would probably wait until you are closer to your wedding..I think a year out is even a lot but you are still 2 years from your date..you might change your mind on the style, lose weight or find something nicer between september and july 2014

I'm only looking then because there is a Maggie sottero trunk show at the salon near me and I wanted to check out her dresses. Otherwise I'd wait a bit longer.
